On Point Audio Introduces Powered Speaker Systems
Nashville, TN USA – March 24, 2010: On Point Audio, a new brand of professional live sound loudspeaker systems, is introducing its new line of selfpowered speaker systems during its worldwide premier at prolight + sound 2010 in Hall 8.0, Stand # L 75.
On Point Audio’s new powered systems combine perfectly-matched class-D amplification, sophisticated digital signal processing, best-in-class transducers and robust enclosures to create easy-to-use, self-contained systems.
On Point Audio’s range of powered systems includes the OPA-10 Active, a 10-inch two-way system; the OPA-15 Active, a 15-inch two-way system; and the OPA-Sub Active, an 18-inch subwoofer system.
OPA-10 Active
On Point Audio’s OPA-10 Active is a powered 10-inch twoway
professional loudspeaker system designed for
applications where small size, high output capability and
premium sound quality are required. Thanks to its powerful
amplifiers, sophisticated digital processing, premium
transducers and solid construction, the OPA-10 Active
delivers huge, well-balanced sound.
OPA-10 Active Features:
• Built-in class-D amplifier with 1,600 watts of total
system power – a 1,200-watt low-frequency amp and a 400-watt high frequency
amp

transducers to deliver optimum sound quality, excellent headroom and
complete system protection
• 10-inch (254 mm) woofer with large-format 4-inch voice coil and

• 1.75-inch (44.4 mm) pure titanium compression driver is coupled with a
90o x 40o constant-directivity horn that is full rotatable and enables the
system to be positioned horizontally or vertically
• Trapezoidal, tour-quality 18-mm marine-grade birch plywood enclosure is
painted with a wear-resistant polyurethane finish and is equipped with a
full-faced steel grille, comfort-lift handles, a metal pole mount plus 10 x
M10 fly points

OPA-15 Active
On Point Audio’s OPA-15 Active is a powered 15-inch two-way
professional loudspeaker system featuring a compact, anvilstrong,
injection-molded enclosure that’s approximately the
same size as many 12-inch systems. Thanks to its powerful
amplifiers, sophisticated digital processing, premium
transducers and rock-solid construction, the OPA-15 Active
delivers smooth, supremely accurate, beautifully-detailed
sound.
OPA-15 Active Features:
• Built-in class-D amplifier with 1,600 watts of total system power – a 1,200-
watt low-frequency amp and a 400-watt high-frequency amp
• Precision-tuned digital signal processing with minimal EQ is perfectly matched
to the drivers to deliver optimum sound quality, excellent
headroom and complete system protection
• NP15N 15-inch (381 mm) Narrow-Profile woofer with large-format 4-inch
(101.6 mm) voice coil and neodymium magnet structure delivers solid
lows, and smooth warm mids
• 1.75-inch (44.4 mm) pure titanium compression driver is coupled with a
60o x 40o High-Q constant-directivity horn to deliver excellent projection
with superb pattern control
• Injection-molded polypropylene enclosure is equipped with a full-faced
steel grille, comfort-lift handles and built-in stand mount adapter
• 7 x M10 fly points for quick, easy rigging. A range of optional accessories
are available for mounting, suspension and arraying

OPA-Sub Active
On Point Audio’s OPA-Sub Active is a powered 18-
inch professional subwoofer system that combines a
powerful woofer and 2,000 watts of digitally controlled
room-shaking power in a solid, yet
compact enclosure.
OPA-Sub Active Features:
• 18-inch (457 mm) woofer with large-format 4-inch (101.6 mm) voice coil in
an optimally-tuned, vented enclosure that delivers prodigious bass output
• Built-in 2,000-watt peak class-D amplifier ensures high output capability.
Onboard processing is precisely-tuned to deliver maximum headroom and
system protection
• Comes with heavy-duty casters for easy moving
• Comes with adjustable-height mounting pole for suspension off full-range
systems

• Roadworthy 18-mm marine-grade birch plywood enclosure is finished in
